About

Travelsist is a third-party, on-demand staffing and AI-driven technology solutions (B2B & B2C) company for airports and airliners. The original intention was to supply the needs for practical baby gear and gadgets through a rental program in airport infrastructures nationwide. The company led an eventual shift into a mobilized effort to service inclusive passengers during the pandemic.

The Brief

Travelsist outgrew its identity as a baby carriers rental, but its brand had yet to reflect its expanded mission creating conflict in communicating its value to stakeholders and passengers.

Establish a bold yet professional social identity for Travelsist in the broader scope of the travel space, making the brand recognizable across their Instagram and LinkedIn to enterprise and consumer audiences.

The Decisions

Founder-led trust
Founder & CEO, Veronica Woodruff, is a previous flight attendant and mother who struggled with navigating airports alone with a toddler in toll. Travelsist aims to leverage parasocial trust through the active persona of the founder, distilling her testimonies as the brand mission and in engaging posts.

Proof of product-people fit
Travelsist services the greater area of Atlanta, Georgia with the understanding that these airports lack the resources to support vulnerable populations. We positioned Travelsist as a travel-forward thought leader communicating on airport landscape, navigation tips, product and service usage, and more to build rapport.

Digitizing the Travelsist personality
Travelsist service staffs are its core function. Their friendliness and do-good attitude is the reason passengers rebook. I redesigned the original logo to adopt the persona of a Travelsistant and harmonized the brands’ color system and strong typography across four different touchpoints: stakeholder pitch decks and marketing materials, social channels, website, and email list. Each template utilized shared design elements to ensure function and ease for the whole team to update at will.

The Outcome

After the rebrand, having a structured hierarchical system with flexible compositions allowed for increased resource on other areas of focus. Travelsist gained organic socials traction in the travel space. We launched a campaign for senior citizens that then captured the pain points of group travelers. Growing our customer segment opened doors to potential acquisitions for expansion to neighboring airports.
